3 KINDS OF AWARENESS
3 KINDS OF AWARENESS:
- Self-awareness is the most known type of awareness. This is the ability to understand and recognize your own thoughts, feelings, values, beliefs, and actions, and how they impact you, others and the children you work with daily. It involves introspection and a conscious understanding of your strengths and weaknesses.
- Social awareness is the ability to understand others, the relationships you have with the children and the relationships children have with each other. It involves understanding the impact of your actions and content and your mindful information you share.
- Organization awareness is the way that you put things in order like organizing and putting tasks that concern your day working with children and looking at the things they can do daily in the classroom. It is the ability to understand and navigate the formal and informal structures, relationships, and dynamics within this organization, including the different cultures found in the classroom and the core values.
Remember, self-awareness is very important especially when it comes to you and the teaching you do in the classroom!.
