Everyone Has a Story in Life!

A 24-year-old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted, “Dad, look the trees are going behind!”

Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year-old childish behaviors with pity, suddenly the boy again exclaimed: “Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”

The couple couldn’t resist and said to the dad, “Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?”

The dad smiled and said “I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today.”

Every single person on the planet has a story. Don’t judge people before you truly know them! The truth might surprise you.

This reminded me when I took my tape-recorder to a cottage to play music for a child that had cerebral palsy in all extremes, in a wheelchair and spoke little. He was excited to see me come. I put rock and roll music on. The workers watched and this young man was so excited that he stood up out of his wheelchair for the first time ever, turned around to hold on the front of the chair for support and started to wiggle to the music! The staff was amazed because they thought he could not hear nor even move out from the wheelchair. It was that day he never used his wheelchair again. After that, he would walk to the school area in his unique way following the blue line. It was a year later that he went to a group home to live. It was quite an experience to see this young man succeed in so many ways.
